In business since 1960, P. L. Severy & Company supplies parts internationally and can help solve problems by manufacturing custom component parts from a wide range of materials for your equipment, products or manufacturing processes. We supply a wide variety of standard products, but we are unique in being able to help with custom solutions for your non-standard manufacturing requirements. "Specials are our specialty!"
We offer OEM replacement parts, as well as many unique modifications to fit your applications. Our goal is to work with you to find the materials and products that are best suited for your applications' chemical, temperature, wear and cost factors so that you can maximize the performance of our products, getting the end result in your manufacturing processes that you command.
We also offer a unique, cost saving, Reclaim Exchange Program for our vacuum cups that have the larger, expensive, machined mounting plates.
Need them fast? Many of our products we will keep flowing in the pipelines so that we can provide next day shipment, or significantly shortened lead times. Lead times can vary depending on the specific requirements of your applications, and whether new tooling is required. Once we have your new products established, we always offer to inventory at least one release to have ready for next day shipment. |

Founded in 1960 by visionary, Perlee (Lee) Severy, P. L. Severy & Company, Inc. was established to fill a unique void in the manufacturing industry, solving manufacturing issues where OEM parts either weren't available to fit a unique application, or were so over-engineered that their parts complexity made them uneconomical. By utilizing his manufacturing engineering experience and expertise to help solve these common manufacturing issues, Mr. Severy helped manufacturers improve manufacturing processes and save many valuable dollars throughout the years.
In 1991, Mr. Severy began to transfer his ownership of the company to Howard Hale, who he'd known for 21 years through the local chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
In January of 2004 Karen Culbertson, working with the company since 1994, purchased the company and established it as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Mr. Hale continues with the company as an active consultant.
Today, we continue our goal to work with you to find the materials and products that are best suited for your applications' chemical, temperature, wear and cost factors so that you can maximize the performance of our products, getting the end result in your manufacturing processes that you command. |
